Official: Pascal Gross returns to Brighton
The German midfielder has once again decided to test himself in the English Premier League.
Details: Pascal Gross has rejoined Brighton on a contract running until June 2027. The agreement is set for 18 months, with the details of the deal remaining undisclosed. The German midfielder previously spent 18 months in the Bundesliga, playing for Borussia Dortmund.
Head coach Fabian Hurzeler expressed his delight at Gross's return:
"We are thrilled to have Pascal back with us. He is a fantastic player and a person I've long wanted to work with. The fans know his qualities, but he also brings leadership and experience to the side, which will be a huge asset in the second half of the season."
Gross first joined Brighton in 2017 from Ingolstadt and quickly became a key figure in solidifying the team’s place in the Premier League. Over seven seasons on the south coast, he made 228 league appearances, scored 30 goals, and provided 45 assists, helping the club achieve their best-ever results and qualify for European competitions.
