Experienced Dutch striker Wout Weghorst has officially changed clubs, while remaining within the Eredivisie.

Details: The 33-year-old forward is leaving Amsterdam's Ajax and will continue his professional career with Twente.

The press service of the Amsterdam giants has already confirmed the transfer, warmly bidding farewell to the player and thanking him for his contribution to the team's results.

"We want to thank Wout for everything he has done for us over the past two seasons and wish him all the best for the future," Ajax said in an official statement.

For Twente, signing such a powerful and experienced striker is a major boost to their attacking line for the coming seasons, while the Amsterdam side begins to rebuild their frontline.
