The German goalkeeper has swapped one Catalan club for another.

Details: Girona have officially announced that German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has joined the club on loan from Barcelona until the end of the season.

It’s worth noting that he has been playing for Barcelona since 2014, spending the majority of his professional career at the club. The goalkeeper made 423 official appearances and played a key role in numerous triumphs: the Champions League, six LaLiga titles, six Copa del Rey trophies, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

This season, Marc-André ter Stegen featured in just one match for the Catalan side – a Copa del Rey fixture against Guadalajara, where the German keeper kept a clean sheet.

Reminder: Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick completely banned Dro Fernandez from club facilities after learning of his move to PSG.
