Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has joined Inter Miami on a free transfer, as announced on the club's website.

The forward will reunite with his former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba. Together, they won four La Liga titles in five seasons and the UEFA Champions League in 2015.

The contract is valid until the end of 2024, with an option for an additional year, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano. Suarez's most recent club was Gremio, and he left the Brazilian team as a free agent. In 53 matches last season, Luis contributed with 26 goals and 17 assists for Gremio.

Reminding that Luis Suarez moved to Barcelona in 2014. For several years, he, along with Lionel Messi and Neymar, formed one of the most formidable attacking trios in European football. The Uruguayan departed from Barcelona in 2020, subsequently winning the league title with Atletico Madrid, as well as trophies with Uruguayan club Nacional and Brazilian side Gremio.
