Official: Liverpool star joins Valencia
A new chapter begins in Spain for one of Liverpool's talented midfielders.
Details: Valencia have officially completed the signing of Harvey Elliott from Liverpool on loan. The 23-year-old English midfielder will represent the Spanish club for the remainder of the 2026/27 season.
The move gives Elliott another opportunity to secure regular playing time away from Anfield. The midfielder arrived in Valencia before completing the formalities of the transfer and has now officially become part of Carlos Corberán's squad for the current campaign.
According to reports in Spain, the agreement is a straight loan until the end of the season and does not include an option for Valencia to make the transfer permanent. Elliott has already made it clear that he is ambitious about his spell at Mestalla and hopes to help the club return to European competition.
It's worth noting that Elliott spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, where his opportunities were limited. The England midfielder made nine appearances during that spell before returning to Liverpool this summer and has now chosen La Liga as the next destination in his career.
