Ligue 1 in France has officially announced the postponement of the PSG fixture that was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 15.
Details: The main reason for the schedule adjustment is PSG's packed UEFA Champions League calendar. As a reminder, the Parisian side are set to play two crucial round of 16 matches against London’s Chelsea, scheduled for March 11 and 17 in Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
The decision was made by the League’s Board of Directors at the request of the Parisian club. PSG’s opponents, Nantes, also agreed to the new date for the encounter.
The rescheduling of this domestic fixture is designed to give PSG players extra time for physical recovery and better preparation ahead of their crucial second leg clash with the English side. The League administration accommodated the Paris club’s request.
As a result, it has now been confirmed that the match will take place on Monday, April 20.
Reminder: Liverpool is preparing a transfer for PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
