OFFICIAL. Lawson will replace Riccardo for the rest of the season

It seems that the renowned Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo may never return to the Formula 1 circuit.

Details: Today, Red Bull officially announced that New Zealander Liam Lawson will take over Ricciardo's seat at Scuderia AlphaTauri for the remainder of the season.

This is the second time Lawson has stepped in for Ricciardo. Last season, he raced in five events, managing to score only two points.

Reminder: Daniel Ricciardo enjoyed a 14-season career in Formula 1, with his highest achievements being third-place finishes in the 2014 and 2016 seasons while driving for Red Bull Racing.

Throughout his career, Ricciardo also represented HRT, McLaren, Renault, and Scuderia Toro Rosso.
