Official: Joshua Kimmich extends contract with Bayern Munich
German midfielder Joshua Kimmich is staying with Bayern Munich for another four years — now it's official.
Details: Bayern has officially announced that they have reached an agreement with the German midfielder and team leader, Joshua Kimmich. The new contract is set until June 2029.
Quote: "At Bayern, I have the best conditions to achieve my sporting goals. I made my decision based on this. At the moment, there is no better combination of teammates, coaching staff, and club environment to achieve maximum success. I feel comfortable here, and I'm not done yet," Kimmich stated.
This season, despite missing matches due to injury, Kimmich has played 39 official games, scored 1 goal, and provided 10 assists.
Reminder: The return of Bayern winger Leroy Sané to the English Premier League is becoming increasingly likely. Arsenal is targeting the signing of the German player.
