Official: João Pedro joins Chelsea


London's Chelsea continues to strengthen ahead of the upcoming season and has now completed another signing.
Details: The London club has officially announced on its platforms the signing of Brazilian forward João Pedro. The 23-year-old has penned a contract running until 2033. Previously, Fabrizio Romano reported that the Blues would pay €55 million for the player.
Pedro will join the squad right before the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final clash against Palmeiras.
Quote: "Everyone knows this is a huge club with a great history. They've had fantastic players in the past and have great players now. I'm thrilled to be here, and you know, when you play for Chelsea, there’s only one thing on your mind – winning," the striker told Chelsea's press office.
Reminder: Another former Chelsea player will don the Arsenal shirt. This time it’s goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Gunners have officially confirmed the signing of the Spanish shot-stopper.
