The Korean giants have bid farewell to 32-year-old Lingard.

Details: Today it was announced that attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard is departing FC Seoul a month before his contract was set to expire.

Lingard's contract with Seoul was originally valid until December 31, 2025, but the player has decided to terminate the agreement early by mutual consent, despite the club management's desire to extend their cooperation with Lingard.

Jesse Lingard joined Seoul in January 2024 as a free agent and quickly became the highest-paid player in the Korean league.

He made 66 appearances for the Korean side, scoring 18 goals and providing 10 assists.

Lingard will play his final match for FC Seoul in the 6th round of the ACLE league against Melbourne at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday, December 10.
