In the seventh round of the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona defeated Slavia 4–2, but their midfielder and one of the team’s leaders suffered an injury.

Details: In the middle of the first half, Pedri left the pitch due to a knock, and Barcelona have now officially provided an update. The midfielder sustained an injury to his right hamstring. As a result, he will be sidelined for one month.

INJURY UPDATE

Tests conducted this morning have confirmed that first team player Pedro González “Pedri” has a right hamstring injury, which he picked up during the game against Slavia Prague yesterday.

By the way, the Spaniard had previously recovered quickly from a muscle injury — missing only three matches in two weeks — but this time Barcelona do not want to risk a hamstring tear.

Reminder: Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski scored the first own goal of his career in the match against Slavia.
