Manchester City has made it crystal clear who they are banking on at the heart of their defense.
Details: The English club’s press office has officially announced that Abdukodir Khusanov has extended his contract with Manchester City. The defender’s new deal runs until 2031.
This contract extension is a strong sign of trust in the Uzbekistan international. Manchester City is committed to Khusanov for the long term and expects him to be a key figure in the coming seasons.
Earlier reports indicated that negotiations between the parties had reached an advanced stage. Now, the club has officially settled the defender’s future.
It’s worth noting that Khusanov joined Manchester City from Lens in January 2025.
