Official: Franco Mastantuono joins Real Madrid

Real Madrid have won the race for one of the brightest talents in Latin American football – River Plate's Franco Mastantuono.
Details: The Spanish capital club has announced the signing of the 17-year-old Argentine winger. However, he will not be moving to the Santiago Bernabéu immediately, but rather on August 14 this year – when Mastantuono turns 18.
At that point, he will sign a contract with Real until June 30, 2031. The transfer fee has not been disclosed, but Transfermarkt reports that River Plate will receive a cheque for €45 million.
Reminder: This season, Mastantuono has played 19 matches for the Latin American giants, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. In the recent international break, the 17-year-old winger, despite his young age, made his debut for Argentina's senior national team.
