FIFA has stopped short of disqualifying the Israel national team, but has still taken decisive action.
Details: Today it was announced that FIFA has indeed decided to impose sanctions on the Israel national team, following a request from Palestine.

Reports indicate that FIFA did not fully meet the Palestinians' demands, which called for Israel’s complete exclusion from all FIFA and UEFA competitions, but did take the following steps:
- A fine of €165,000.
- An official warning.
- Mandatory implementation of an anti-discrimination plan.
- For the next three home matches in FIFA competitions, the Israel national team will be required to display a banner reading: "Football unites the world: no to discrimination."
There is no talk of disqualifying Israel from FIFA or UEFA tournaments.
Previously, the Palestinian Football Association filed an official complaint demanding Israel’s full exclusion due to military actions, but as we can see, FIFA has opted for a more measured approach.
