OFFICIAL. Ex-Man United forward Martial has joined Greek Super League club
Former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, who had been a free agent, has officially joined a new club.
Details: AEK Athens, a Greek Super League side, has announced the signing of Martial.
The French striker has signed a three-year contract with the "Eagles." While the exact salary details have not been revealed, Greek media reports suggest that Martial has become the highest-paid player in the club’s history.
Reminder: Martial joined Manchester United in the summer of 2015, with the "Red Devils" paying Monaco €60 million for his transfer.
Last season, Martial made just 13 Premier League appearances, scoring one goal.
AEK Athens played in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers this season but was shockingly eliminated by Armenian club Noah.
