Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of former FC Samartex forward Emmanuel Mamah on a two-year contract, with the Ghanaian club holding an option to extend the deal for another year.

The 21-year-old forward has joined the Porcupine Warriors after an impressive spell with Samartex, where he developed into one of the most promising young attacking players in the Ghana Premier League.

Mamah attracted interest from several clubs before deciding to continue his career with the Kumasi giants. The Austrian side Admiral Wacker, Spanish second-tier club AD Ceuta, as well as Ghanaian clubs Hearts of Oak and FC AshantiGold 04, were all reportedly monitoring his situation.

However, Asante Kotoko ultimately won the race for his signature and have now secured his services on a long-term deal.

Mamah arrives at Kotoko with a strong scoring record in Ghana's top flight. He has found the net 20 times in 79 Ghana Premier League appearances, while also scoring once in three CAF Champions League appearances.
