Official: Dayot Upamecano extends contract with Bayern until 2030
The Frenchman has remained loyal to Bayern.
Details: Today, Bayern Munich announced on their official website and on social media platform X that the club has reached an agreement with the 27-year-old French defender Dayot Upamecano to extend his contract.
Upamecano has signed a new, more lucrative and improved contract until 2030, making him one of the highest-paid players in the squad.

Previously, the media frequently reported that Dayot could move to Real Madrid, but as it stands now, the Frenchman will remain in Munich for a long time.
Upamecano joined Bayern in 2021 from Leipzig for €42.5 million. He has made 180 appearances for Bayern, scoring 6 goals and providing 11 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at €70 million.
