Official: Brian Madjo joins Aston Villa

Details: Today, Aston Villa’s official X (formerly Twitter) account announced that 17-year-old forward Brian Madjo from French club Metz has officially joined the Lions.

Reports indicate the transfer fee amounted to €12 million, with Madjo committing to a long-term contract with Villa.

Brian Madjo is a product of the Metz academy, and this move marks the first major milestone in his professional career.

This season, Madjo has made five appearances for Metz’s first team but is yet to record a goal or an assist.

His current contract with Metz runs until 2028, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €4 million.
