Arsenal is pleased with their head coach's performance and has decided to extend Mikel Arteta's contract.
Details: The "Gunners" have secured a new long-term agreement with the Spanish manager. Josh Kroenke, co-chairman of Arsenal, expressed his delight at continuing the partnership with Arteta.
Quote: "Mikel is a dynamic and passionate manager who relentlessly strives for excellence. He has a deep understanding of Arsenal's values, and since joining us as head coach in December 2019, he has taken the team to a new level in true Arsenal fashion," he stated.
Recall: Our team previously reported that the Spanish manager had agreed to a new deal with Arsenal extending until 2027. Arteta’s salary will also see an increase.
While specific figures are not disclosed, it is believed his salary will be close to £20 million per year, akin to that of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
