Details: According to David Ornstein, Taylor has announced his retirement from refereeing. He officiated 831 matches over the course of a 20-year career. He also took charge of domestic cup finals. Taylor ended his career at the age of 47 after refereeing the 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match between Portugal and Spain.
