Iraola will not be extending his contract with the Cherries.
Details: Today, Bournemouth's official X (formerly Twitter) account announced that 49-year-old German coach Marco Rose will officially take over as the club’s new head coach at the end of the current season. Rose’s contract with Bournemouth is set for three years.
Rose will replace Spaniard Andoni Iraola, whose contract expires this summer and will not be renewed.
Rose’s last club was German side Leipzig, whom he managed from 2022 until leaving the Red Bulls in March 2025.
As for Iraola, he has been in charge of Bournemouth since 2023, overseeing 122 matches, recording 46 wins, 35 draws, and 41 defeats at the helm of the Cherries.
