After being turned down by PSG central defender Milan Škriniar, Saudi club Al-Nassr managed to secure another well-known player for the same position.
Today, the club, which features Cristiano Ronaldo, announced the signing of central defender Mohamed Simakan from RB Leipzig. Al-Nassr paid €45 million plus bonuses for the transfer of the French footballer.
The details of Simakan's contract with Al-Nassr have not been disclosed.
It’s worth noting that earlier today, Al-Nassr also reached an agreement to sign 19-year-old Chelsea winger Ângelo.
Simakan joined RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021 from Strasbourg for €15 million. Last season, he played 32 matches and scored 2 goals.
