"Number 10”. The Brazilian prodigy's agent has revealed the role in which he is seen at Chelsea

In June, Chelsea officially announced the signing of young winger Willian Estevao from Brazilian club Palmeiras.

Estevao's agent, Andre Cury, discussed the role the "Blues" envision for the Brazilian prodigy on the field.

Quote: "Estevao can adapt to any style of play. Chelsea sees him playing as a number 10. This is important for him. He can develop even more by playing in the midfield."

Background: According to the agreement between Chelsea and Palmeiras, the young Brazilian will remain with his current club for another year before joining the "Blues" in the summer of 2025.

The 17-year-old has already earned a solid reputation in South America as one of the most exciting talents, thanks to his skillful dribbling and impressive speed. He has caused significant problems for opposing defenses in his first season of senior football.
