NPFL: Wikki Tourists Report Six Players to NFF After AWOL Absence from Club Duties
Wikki Tourists have taken formal action after six members of their squad failed to return to training, notifying the Nigeria Football Federation over what they described as an unapproved absence from club duties.
The Nigeria Premier Football League side confirmed that the players did not report for scheduled training sessions or official team activities, with no prior permission granted by the club.
In response, Wikki Tourists described the situation as a clear violation of professional standards, stressing that such behaviour goes against both team discipline and contractual expectations.
The players involved in the incident are Abdullahi Pepe, Chizoba Okoh, Sani Ibrahim, Abubakar Ibrahim Aliyu, Ibrahim Shuaibu, and Barhama Mansur.
