NPFL: Wikki Tourists Relegated After 3-2 Defeat to Rivers United
Wikki Tourists F.C. have officially been relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League following a 3-2 loss to Rivers United F.C. on Sunday.
Jonathan Mariga gave Wikki Tourists the lead in the first half before Rivers United equalised to make it 1-1 at the break.
The visitors went ahead again early in the second half through Imamu Bala, but Rivers United responded with two quick goals to complete the comeback and secure victory.
The result confirms Wikki Tourists as the second team to be relegated from the NPFL this season.
