Shooting Stars Sports Club have officially confirmed the signing of attacker Alade Balogun from Nigeria Premier Football League side Ikorodu City.

The Ibadan-based club announced the acquisition on their official social media platforms on Wednesday, putting an end to speculation surrounding the forward’s future.

Balogun featured prominently for Ikorodu City during the first half of the 2024/25 season, where his performances attracted interest from several top-flight clubs. His move to Shooting Stars will see him reunite with head coach Nurudeen Aweroro, a reunion expected to help him settle quickly into his new environment.
