Shooting Stars Sports Club have officially appointed former Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf as their new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Ibadan-based club confirmed Yusuf's appointment on Friday, bringing the experienced Nigerian tactician back into the NPFL as the Oluyole Warriors prepare for a busy campaign that will also include continental football.
Yusuf will be responsible for guiding Shooting Stars in the 2026/27 NPFL season and the CAF Confederation Cup, with the club hoping his experience can help them compete on both fronts.
Announcing the appointment, Shooting Stars said Yusuf's extensive coaching experience made him an important addition to their technical setup.

“The club is confident that Coach Salisu Yusuf will bring strong leadership, tactical expertise and a winning mentality to the Oluyole Warriors as we pursue our ambitions across domestic and continental competitions,” the statement concluded.
