NPFL: Rivers United Go Top After 3–0 Win Over El Kanemi Warriors

Rivers United moved to the top of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table after a convincing 3–0 victory over El Kanemi Warriors.

Wisdom Samuel opened the scoring early in the 10th minute, while Chijioke Mbaoma doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 72nd minute. Samuel then sealed the win in stoppage time, grabbing his second goal of the match in the 90+3rd minute.

The result takes Rivers United to 49 points from 26 matches, sending them to the summit of the NPFL standings.
