NPFL: Remo Stars Interim Head Coach Sulamion Kamil Confident Ahead of Clash with Rangers International

Remo Stars Interim Head Coach, Sulamion Kamil, has issued a bold statement ahead of their upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match against Rangers International, expressing confidence that his team can secure a convincing win if they replicate the approach that earned them the win over El Kanemi.

Speaking after Remo Stars’ hard-fought 2-1 win over El Kanemi Warriors at the Gateway Stadium in Ijebu Ode during Round 12 of the NPFL, Kamil highlighted the importance of the team’s mindset and tactical discipline.

“If they play like this against Rangers, they can beat them 3-0. It’s possible. Every game requires its own approach. El Kanemi parked the bus, but Rangers won’t play that way,” Kamil stated.

The win over El Kanemi ended a frustrating run for the defending champions, Remo Stars, who had lost five consecutive games across all competitions. Kamil believes that the confidence gained from this victory can propel the team to perform strongly against Rangers International, provided they maintain the same intensity and tactical focus.
