NPFL: Remo Coach Sulaimon Folarin Urges Team to Bounce Back After Derby Defeat
Remo Stars head coach Sulaimon Folarin has stressed the need for an immediate response from his team following their narrow 1–0 loss to Shooting Stars in the intense Southwest derby in Ibadan. The defeat has put added pressure on the Sky Blue Stars as they look to regain form and avoid slipping further down the NPFL standings.
Reflecting on the match, Folarin emphasized that the upcoming fixture leaves no room for complacency:
“The game against Enyimba will be a tough one for us. Nevertheless, the team has to fight and get the maximum points. We can’t afford to drop any points at home again if we want to stay competitive.”
Remo Stars currently sit 13th on the league table, making Sunday’s clash against Enyimba at the MKO Abiola Stadium crucial for their season. The Sky Blue Stars will be hoping to capitalize on home advantage and secure a much-needed victory as they push to climb back into contention.
