NPFL: Reason Why Enyimba vs Shooting Stars Matchday 2 Fixture Was Postponed Indefinitely
The 2026/27 Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 2 fixture between Enyimba International and Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has been postponed indefinitely.
The postponement is due to Shooting Stars’ involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup. The Oluyole Warriors are scheduled to face Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien this weekend at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
The NPFL informed both Enyimba and Shooting Stars of the decision, with the league body yet to announce a new date for the fixture.
The postponement will allow Shooting Stars to focus fully on their continental campaign as they prepare for the first leg against CS Sfaxien.
Shooting Stars will return to NPFL action once a new date for their meeting with Enyimba is confirmed.
