NPFL: Rangers Complete Comeback Win Over Nasarawa United After Rain-Delayed Match
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match between Rangers International and Nasarawa Utd has finally reached a conclusion in the early hours of Friday morning.
The match, which was played at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, was suspended at the 63rd minute on Thursday due to heavy rainfall that left the playing conditions unsuitable for the game to continue.
As of the suspension, Nasarawa United were ahead after Dapman opened the scoring in the 39th minute. Rangers responded just two minutes later, with Chidozie Iwundu finding the back of the net to bring the champions level.
The two teams returned to the pitch early Friday morning to play the remaining minutes of the encounter.
Rangers completed their comeback when Daniel Itodo scored to put the home side 2-1 ahead.
The hosts held on to their advantage until the final whistle, securing all three points from the rain-delayed NPFL encounter.
