NPFL: Plateau United Beat Ten Man Shooting Stars 3-1 on Matchday Four

Plateau United secured a 3-1 comeback victory over ten-man Shooting Stars in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Four fixture.

Shooting Stars took the lead in the 15th minute through Taheer Abubakar, giving the visitors an early advantage.

Plateau United responded after the break, with Jibrin Ibrahim equalising in the 50th minute before Seiyefa Jackson completed the comeback in the 71st minute.

Gideon Monday added a third goal for Plateau United in the 86th minute to seal all three points for the hosts.

Shooting Stars were reduced to 10 men in the 83rd minute when Gbolagade Adelowo was shown a red card.

The result saw Plateau United complete a 3-1 comeback win on Matchday Four. The win lifts Plateau United to sixth in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table with seven points from four games.
