NPFL: Plateau United Beat Inter Lagos 2-0 to Extend Unbeaten Run

Plateau United continued their impressive start to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season on matchday six with a 2-0 victory over newly promoted Inter Lagos at the New Jos Stadium, Jos.

Gideon Monday broke the deadlock in the 56th minute to give Plateau United the lead after the two sides went into the break level.

Jibrin Ibrahim then doubled the advantage in the 76th minute, sealing all three points for the Jos-based side.

The victory sees Plateau United maintain their unbeaten run and continue their impressive form in the NPFL.

Plateau United will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Enyimba on October 4, as they look to extend their strong start to the campaign.

For Inter Lagos, the defeat is their fourth loss of the season since gaining promotion to the NPFL.

The newly promoted side will now look to bounce back when they face Katsina United on October 4.
