The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially announced a new date for the matchday 36 game between Ikorodu City and Wikki Tourists.
The match was initially scheduled for Sunday, 3rd May, but will now be played on Tuesday, 5th May 2026, due to the Lagos State Federation Cup final.
In a statement released on Monday, the NPFL explained that the decision was made to avoid a scheduling conflict with the high-profile state final.
“Matchday 36 fixture, Ikorodu City v Wikki Tourists has been rescheduled from May 3 to May 5 owing to the Lagos State Federation Cup final to hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on May 3,” NPFL wrote in a statement on Monday.
