NPFL: Niger Tornadoes Defender Chibueze Ezeifule Declares Fitness Ahead of Enyimba Clash
Niger Tornadoes central defender Chibueze Damien Ezeifule has confirmed he is ready to return to competitive action after missing the opening fixtures of the second half of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season due to illness.
The Imo State–born defender, who joined the Minna-based side from Kun Khalifat FC, has been one of Niger Tornadoes’ standout performers this campaign. Before his absence, Ezeifule featured in 18 league matches and played a crucial role in strengthening the club’s defensive unit.
After sitting out the team’s last three league games, the centre-back has now fully recovered and made himself available for selection ahead of this weekend’s important home fixture against Enyimba.
“I’m fully fit now after overcoming the illness that kept me out,” Ezeifule said. “I’m healed, well-rested, and ready to make a strong comeback.”
