NPFL: Niger Tornadoes Beat Kun Khalifa 1-0 in Matchday Seven

Niger Tornadoes returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 victory over Kun Khalifa in their Matchday Seven clash at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna, on Sunday.

Ismaila Sarki proved to be the difference, as his late goal in the 83rd minute secured all three points for the hosts.

The result ended Niger Tornadoes’ run of five consecutive matches without a win and handed them their second victory of the season.

Kun Khalifa pushed for an equaliser after falling behind, but Tornadoes held on to secure a valuable home victory.

Niger Tornadoes will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Ranchers Bees next weekend as they look to build on the win.
