NPFL: Nasarawa United Coach Mangut Mbwas Receives 2025 Toyota Hilux from State Government
Nasarawa United’s Technical Adviser, Mangut Mbwas, has received a brand-new 2025 Toyota Hilux as his official vehicle, courtesy of the Nasarawa State Government.
The presentation, as revealed by the club media, took place during a brief ceremony at the Office of the Secretary to the State Government in Lafia. The SSG, Labaran Magaji (SAN), handed over the vehicle keys to the club’s Chairman, Mr. Solomon Babanjah, who in turn officially presented them to Coach Mbwas.
Speaking at the event, Labaran Magaji noted that the vehicle gift reflects Governor Abdullahi Sule’s commitment to supporting sports development in the state. He added that the gesture is aimed at easing the transportation challenges faced by the coach, allowing him to focus fully on driving the team toward consistent success.
Nasarawa United have been in impressive form this season. The Solid Miners currently sit top of the NPFL table with 30 points after sixteen matches. They will travel to neighbouring Plateau State this weekend for their Matchday 17 clash against Plateau United.
