The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has lifted the ban placed on the Lekan Salami Stadium, clearing the venue to host top-flight matches once again.
The ground home of the Shooting Stars Sports Club was previously suspended due to the poor state of its playing surface. The league body deemed the pitch unfit for competitive matches, forcing the Oluyole Warriors to temporarily relocate.
During the ban, Shooting Stars hosted their home fixtures at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, away from their traditional supporters in Ibadan.
With improvements now made, the team will return to their home ground this weekend for a crucial Matchday 28 clash against Kano Pillars.
