NPFL: Kwara United Head Coach Ashifat Suleiman Praises Team Performance in 1-0 Win Over Wikki Tourists

Kwara United head coach Ashifat Suleiman has expressed his satisfaction following his side’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Wikki Tourists F.C. in matchday 28 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Harmony Boys secured a crucial three points in their battle to avoid relegation, thanks to a decisive strike from Akanni Akeem. His lone goal of the encounter proved enough to seal victory in what was a tense and closely contested fixture.

Speaking after the match, Coach Suleiman did not hide his relief. The victory marked an important turning point after a challenging run of results.

“I’m happy with the result,” Suleiman said. “I’m also satisfied with the performance of Shola Abdulraheem and Adeshina Gata, who have just returned from injuries. Giving them playing time will help them regain full fitness.”
