NPFL: Kun Khalifat FC Will Fight to Avoid Relegation, Says Obinna Uzoho After Kano Pillars Win

Kun Khalifat FC technical adviser Obinna Uzoho has vowed that his side will continue battling to avoid relegation in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), following their crucial 2-1 victory over Kano Pillars.

The important win, secured at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday, has boosted the team’s survival hopes as the season approaches its final stages.

Speaking after the match, Uzoho praised his players’ determination and insisted the fight is far from over.

“We always believe in ourselves and we don’t give up until the last whistle is blown,” Uzoho told Puyaka.

“We will fight until we are safe to play in the league next season.”

Uzoho added that survival would benefit the squad’s younger players.

“Our safety is good for the young players because next season they will show more of their talents to the world.”
