NPFL: Kun Khalifat Confirm Exit of Midfielder Blessed Iyamu Ahead of Expected Move to Rivers United

Kun Khalifat FC have officially confirmed the departure of midfielder Blessed Iyamu following the end of his stint at the club.

Iyamu, who featured 18 times in the league and scored once for Kun Khalifat, is now widely expected to complete a move to Rivers United ahead of the 2026–27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

In a farewell message, Kun Khalifat paid tribute to the midfielder’s contribution and professionalism during his time at the club.

“From the entire Kun Khalifat family we express our gratitude to Blessed Iyamu as his expected to begin a new chapter with Rivers United,” Kun Khalifat FC wrote after the players left at the end of last season.

“Iyamu, your dedication, talent and relentless spirit left a lasting mark on this club. You defended the badge well and gave your all to the club.

“We are proud of the growth we witnessed in you, we wish you well in your new adventure"
