NPFL: Kano Pillars Officially Unveil Daniel Ogunmodede as New Technical Adviser
Kano Pillars have officially announced the appointment of Daniel Ogunmodede as the club's new technical adviser ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The former Remo Stars manager was unveiled at the club's secretariat in the presence of Kano Pillars chairman, Alhaji Ahmad Musbahu Garo, with the club confirming the appointment through its official X account.
Popularly known as Ijaball, the 46-year-old arrives with an impressive reputation after leading Remo Stars to their first-ever NPFL title during the 2024/25 campaign. Ogunmodede, who holds a UEFA B Licence, is expected to oversee a new era for the Sai Masu Gida.
He takes over from Muhammad Babaganaru following a difficult season for Kano Pillars, who narrowly escaped relegation after finishing 15th in the 2025/26 NPFL standings with 48 points from 38 matches.
