NPFL: Kano Pillars F.C. Beat Rivers United F.C. 2–1 After Ahmed Musa Brace

Kano Pillars F.C. claimed a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Rivers United F.C. in a Nigeria Premier Football League clash, with Ahmed Musa scoring both goals in a decisive second-half performance.

Kano Pillars got off to a strong start as Musa opened the scoring to put them ahead. However, Rivers United responded well and equalised through Surajudeen Hassan, popularly known as Handsome Surveyor, to make it 1–1.

The match remained level until late in the second half when Musa struck again, his sixth goal of the season, to restore Kano Pillars’ lead and secure all three points.

Despite the defeat, Rivers United stay second on the NPFL table with 58 points, while Kano Pillars remain 12th with 45 points.
