NPFL: “It’s Not Easy to Go Seven Matches Unbeaten” — Barau FC Boss Eugene Agagbe Reacts After Warri Wolves Draw

Barau FC head coach Eugene Agagbe has expressed satisfaction after his side stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches following a goalless 0-0 draw against Warri Wolves in their Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 27 encounter.

Both sides battled intensely but failed to find the breakthrough in a tightly contested fixture, resulting in a share of the points. The outcome ensures Barau FC maintain their impressive form in the league.

Speaking after the game, Agagbe highlighted how difficult it is to remain consistent in the NPFL.

“It’s not easy to go seven matches unbeaten in the NPFL. We thank God for the result. Our focus has now shifted to Rivers United because we are taking it one match at a time,” he said.

The crucial point keeps Barau FC in 12th place on the league table with 34 points from 26 matches, while they still have one outstanding fixture to play.
