NPFL: Enyimba Coach Emmanuel Deutsch Warns Against Complacency Ahead of Katsina United Clash

Enyimba technical adviser Emmanuel Deutsch has warned his players against complacency when they travel north to face Katsina United in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 8 fixture today (Friday) at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.

The People Elephant are currently enjoying impressive form following their slow start to the NPFL, as they have now recorded two wins and one draw from their last three league matches.

Speaking ahead of a crucial game with the club media, Deutsch insisted that his team will not get carried away with the recent impressive results.

“We will not be carried away because of results from our past three matches. We will take it one game at a time, as it comes,” Deutsch was quoted by the club’s media.

“We will not be carried away because the league is a marathon. We will see what Friday brings. We are ready for the match today,” he added.

“Challenges are normal. But if you let the distractions carry you away, that means you’re not a professional.

“You should leave everything behind and focus on the job. When you focus on your duty, you plan and you see results,” he said.
