NPFL: Enyimba Boss Emmanuel Deutsch Urges Focus Despite Big Win Over Katsina United

Enyimba technical adviser Emmanuel Deutsch has cautioned his players against complacency following their impressive victory over Katsina United.

The nine-time Nigerian champions boosted their survival hopes with a convincing 3–0 win at home in Aba on Sunday. Despite the dominant performance, Deutsch made it clear that the job is far from finished as the season approaches its final stretch.

Speaking after the match, the Cameroonian tactician expressed satisfaction with the result but stressed the importance of maintaining momentum.

“I’m very comfortable. I feel very happy with the result, but it’s not yet over because there are still four matches to be played,” he said.

“We’ve moved up on the table, but we should not remain there. We must work harder to climb further because it’s not yet over.”

Attention now turns to a crucial fixture this weekend, as Enyimba prepare for a high-stakes Oriental Derby against second-placed Rangers. The encounter will take place at the iconic Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
