NPFL Enters Mid-Season Pause

The Nigeria Premier Football League has announced a mid-season break in the 2024/2025 campaign, with activities stopping from December 29 to January 13. The pause is designed to allow clubs rest, regroup and fix technical and administrative issues as the title race and continental qualification battle intensify.

The NPFL also confirmed the January transfer window will open on January 1 and close on January 31, 2026. During this period, teams can strengthen squads, release surplus players and make adjustments. League fixtures will resume immediately after the break as clubs chase season goals.
