The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially announced the date for the commencement of the second stanza of the 2025–26 season.
According to the league body, the second half of the campaign will kick off on Wednesday, 14 January 2026. Fans and clubs can expect competitive action to resume immediately, as fixtures have been scheduled to begin with mid-week matches across all designated NPFL centers.
The announcement was communicated to clubs through an official letter, confirming the league’s readiness to continue the season as planned.
