Wikki Tourists interim coach Bashir Saleh has pointed to a lapse in concentration as the key reason behind his side’s 2-0 defeat to Rangers International FC on Sunday.
The Bauchi-based side, popularly known as the Bauchi Elephants, were beaten in their Matchday 26 clash at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, as the Flying Antelopes capitalised on crucial moments to secure all three points.
Reflecting on the performance, Saleh admitted his team began the game brightly but failed to maintain their focus.
"We started well at kickoff but quickly lost concentration, which gave Rangers the advantage," he said in his post-match reaction.
